Wood Fired Teapot - Fern

Large wheel-thrown teapot with white slip and living fern decoration.
This teapot was fired in a wood burning kiln without external glaze. The atmosphere and ash inside the kiln has left bleached glossy speckles on the pot and toasted the clay to a rich brown. Fully functional with a glossy glazed interior, this teapot pours well and is comfortable to handle.
